Account Manager

Job Description:
Kansas City area advertising agency is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage automotive aftermarket accounts. MUST have prior marketing experience in the automotive industry, preferably working with aftermarket manufacturers. Looking for someone who understands the aftermarket landscape, including how aftermarket manufacturers, particularly B2C companies, go to market. We are looking to bring in someone who is self-motivated and driven; someone that requires very little supervision and can spearhead accounts, not just from an order-taking standpoint, but from the standpoint of assisting in the development of overall strategy to drive the business forward. This person will play a critical role in serving as liaison between account, and internal departments. Collaboration is key. A strong desire to be part of a team is a must. Should have a good understanding of marketing best practices, including digital marketing, and linear media. Should also be well-versed in using Microsoft products, including Excel and Word. This person will work from our office in Overland Park, Kansas.
