We just spent a couple days at the Tulsa Shootout, and wow, what an experience! The Tulsa Shootout is a major indoor micro-sprint car racing event held annually in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is widely regarded as one of the biggest and most prestigious events in the world of dirt track racing, particularly for micro-sprint cars. The event features several days of racing and draws competitors from across the U.S. and internationally – and can be watched live with a subscription to FloRacing. One of the highlights was watching 10-year-old racing sensation Hudson Andrews compete. This kid is something special! Like his dad, Garrett Andrews, before him, Hudson has a natural talent for racing—he started behind the wheel at just 5 years old! It’s amazing to see such young talent shine in such a competitive field. The Shootout itself is unlike anything else. With over 1,600 drivers competing across hundreds of races, the energy in the arena is electric. Every driver is looking to capture those all-important bragging rights, and the racing is absolutely intense. From the moment the engines roar to life, it’s clear why this event has such a legendary reputation in the world of dirt track racing. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a first-timer, the Tulsa Shootout is a must-see event, and it definitely gets you pumped for the Chili Bowl Nationals.
